Here are some of the questions we have had in the past:
Will I be assured of seeing Rock Art and Ruin Sites?Our experienced guides know the locations of hundreds and hundreds of Rock Art and Ruin sites. The number of sites we visit will be limited only by the time available and your interest and ability to access them. Back to TopWill I have to do much hiking?Many of the sites can be viewed from the convenience of our transport vehicle. However, if you really want to see and experience the ancient sites, some moderate hiking will be required. And if you are really interested, our experienced guides will be able to take you into some very remote canyons to see seldom seen locations. The choice is yours! Back to TopIs Lunch included?We do not provide lunch for our guests due to the many dietary and health restrictions. We will have a variety of snacks and drinks available which are included in the price of the trip. We will be happy to suggest local places that will be able to provide sack lunches for you. Back to TopHow should I dress?We recommend that you dress in layers. The weather can be unpredictable throughout the year. If you are planning on doing any hiking, we recommend long pants as many of the places we will be visiting do not have groomed trails. Rain gear is also recommended - just in case! Back to TopWhat type of shoes should I wear?Bring comfortable high top hiking shoes or shoes with good traction. Leather soled shoes are not recommended on the slippery trails. We may encounter puddles or small streams that need fording also. Back to TopWhen about bathroom facilities?Where possible we will try to use public facilities. However, some of our trips take us into remote locations where there are not any facilities. If you think this will be a problem, please let us know prior to the trip. Back to TopHow about Pets?We prefer you do not bring pets along on the tours. Please contact us if you have a special need. Back to TopAre tips included?Tips are are not included in the pricing. If you feel the guides went the extra mile for you, a tip is one way you can show your appreciation. Back to TopIs Smoking Permitted?Smoking is not permitted in the tour vehicle. There will be plenty of opportunities to smoke during our frequent outdoor stops. Do you have a cancellation policy?We will give a 100% refund on any tours cancelled more that five days prior to the tour date. The $50 deposit will not be refunded for tours cancelled less than five days prior to the tour. Back to Top |
